Food - the food of the Gods
So I thought I'd start writing my Blog again. Why not? (That's rhetorical, I don't want answers)
It's been a tough couple of weeks.
My Mom went back to Oz. Shirls Mom+Dad went back to Blighty, the only person I spoke to at work moved to a new job and my cat died.
Actually, I don't have a job. I mean cat.
(Sidenote: I used to have a cat when I was a boy (as opposed to being a girl). It was called Tagger. It was really called Tiger but my mum is from Northern Ireland so I thought she was saying Tagger.)
And we're now facing the ominous task of un-flitting across the Atlantic to continue with an old life.
I'm looking forward to the following:
1. Singapore Fried Rice and Curry Sauce with chips from the New Hong Kong takeaway.
2. Driving to work in less than 6 minutes.
3. A proper Indian take-away
4. Roads with up/down and corners
5. Chips, cheese and gravy from the Terrace.
6. Speed limits higher than a unwell dog with one paw nailed to a tree.
In summary, I think it's mostly the food and the driving that I miss.
Oh, and the people (I suppose). Especially work places with interesting people!
Although, the other day in work we had a great laugh. We were trying to figure out the Gross Margin Percentage on the Project Revenue and we couldn't figure out whether it was Margin divided by the Gross or the Margin divided by the Cost!!! Can you believe that?
Oh, how we laughed. I nearly wet myself.
...I guess you had to be there.
Oh please, someone, send me airline tickets!!!
Yours sincerely
Mr. Coppermine
